“House Arts was an unforgettable moment for us in Audley House! The lead-up was filled with nerves and a fair share of uncertainty but seeing it all come together made the journey worth every second. So many people poured their time and energy into making this a success, and that collective effort transformed the experience into something incredible. Since this was our final House Arts, everything felt that much more meaningful, bittersweet, even. But honestly, we couldn’t be prouder of Audley House. We all gave it our best, and there’s no better way we could have wrapped things up.” – Sanero and Grace (House Captain and Vice-Captain of Audley)
The plot tells the story of three best friends who are thrust into iconic movie worlds of Lion King, Scream, Mamma Mia, Tangled, and Grease, during a movie night gone wrong, where they must navigate thrilling adventures and their own friendships to find a way home.
“I’ve performed in house arts every year since year 7 and I can say for definite this year was such a special one for Audley, not just for being our first win in 8 years but the energy of everyone in the house was incredible and I am so proud all our hard work and effort was appreciated.”- Imogen Year 12
As the overall winner of House Arts this year, Audley shone on stage and were the clear winners, fully captivating the theme of “Movie Magic” in a new and interesting way, going through a TV to different classic and iconic films, such as Scream and Mamma Mia. The talent was out of this world, with a beautiful solo performance sung by Imogen Fox, bringing many almost to tears, which led to her win of Best Song Solo. Audley was spectacular and deserved their win after eight years, being an utter delight to see Audley Shine.
‘No fear, no doubt, that’s what it’s all about! AUDLEY HOUSE! AUDLEY HOUSE!’
