How did you find coming into the school as a Head of subject?
I found it tricky at first, because it was quite different from my previous school, however people are supportive so it has felt more comfortable and enjoyable now that I’ve settled in. In terms of the teaching experience itself, I’m really enjoying it as there’s so much personality, lots of people stopping to chat in corridors and a lot to do outside of subjects.
What is your favourite topic that you teach?
Personally, its the assassination of President Kennedy, I really can talk about it for hours because there’s just so much to unpick!

My holiday in the summer- karaoke, fairground rides, bungee jumping…
What’s your favourite film of all time?
Rocky- he is the ultimate role model, has best theme tune, and he reminds me of myself.

Fajitas, especially if I make them, so I can use as many jalapenos and chicken as I want.
What three items would you take with you onto a desert island?

2)Nespresso coffee machine- don’t have to eat food-coffee will be enough for survival
3)Build a bear called snuggles
Would you kill 10 people to save 100?
It depends on who they are, but not a chance if it is 10 friends.
What is your most embarrassing moment…
Recently, in France I was stopped at the border because they didn’t believe my age. I was interrogated because they didn’t think I was as old as I am, stuck for about 3 hours.
